Bacteriostatic Water 10mL is a sterile, multi-use laboratory water preserved with 0.9% benzyl alcohol, used as the standard peptide reconstitution solvent for lyophilized research materials. The benzyl alcohol preservative inhibits bacterial growth, allowing repeated withdrawals from the same vial for approximately 28 days after first puncture — unlike sterile water, which is single-use only.
